How To Supply To…..

Here FEDF introduces you to the supply chain related requirements of larger organisations and opportunities with them.

Initially we outline “How to….”

Supply to BAe Systems Submarines
Supply to BAe Systems Site Infrastructureroduce uyou
Supply to Centrica Energy
Supply to Orsted
Supply to GlaxoSmithKline
Supply to National Grid
Supply to Network Rail
Supply to NHS
Supply to Nuclear Decommissioning Authority
Supply to Cumbrian Local Authorities (The Chest)
CIPS Furness Cumbria Supply Chain Network

This information may help locally based companies decide to start the process of pre-qualifying to do business with these firms and organisations and to secure market opportunities locally or beyond Cumbria.

Alongside these introductions FEDF’s team can give you a bespoke insight into supplier opportunities emerging from new investments being made in south and west Cumbria or North Lancashire or those associated with ongoing manufacturing and service provision in this Lancaster and South Cumbria Economic Region, (LSCER).

FEDF  has also mapped some major company supply chains to identify their scale and distribution. Such information can assist local firms to look at meeting the needs of tier 1,2,3 suppliers in those supply chains.

FEDF has also arranged for tier 2 groups of suppliers to visit Furness to meet with companies and explore new new supplier capacity.

Communicating information on major project “pipelines”  the huge range of schemes coming up in Furness and the potential work packages involved complements the above. This helps to give you as a potential supplier more certainty about what will happen, when, who is involved and how projects will be delivered.

To access this information  large companies and small or medium sized firms can

  • contact us and provide a summary of your supplier profile and be included on a Furness “quick read supplier directory
  • See our Major Projects Briefings,  “Opening Doors to Major Projects” guides and sector overviews on topics like East Irish Sea oil and gas, offshore wind and shipyard modernization for work package news.
  • See our twitter news-feed
  • be signposted to information and help available through other seperate Cumbria, Northern and National organisations offering their help
